Offering engagement sessions for every couple, he uses this as an opportunity to learn more about their story and own unique style. Then, after a number of planning sessions, he will arrive on the day informed and in place to capture all your big moments from the perfect angle.
Jose Melgarejo Photography enjoys traveling to new locations and exciting wedding venues. He offers a wide range of packages and can also provide a second photographer on request. All of his clients will be given access to an online gallery of all their wedding photos. They can also receive a professionally made wedding album, giving them a priceless memento of their special day.

se we knew he was different. He didn't make us feel like we were just another wedding couple going through the same lists and checking boxes. He really made an effort to get to know us as a couple through multiple calls and meetings. He event insisted on coming to Brooklyn to meet us and shoot outside, so he could get familiar with our mannerisms. From start to finish the planning, professionalism, experience and overall sense of comfort was incredible. We truly felt like we were in great hands, right from the get go. No matter how busy Jose's calendar was, he was always responsive and went over the top to answer questions leading right up to the day of the wedding. He should really be a nurse or a teacher with the level of patience he displayed with us! What was most incredible about Jose and his team was his sense of "I got this, don't worry" and he really meant it. He was such a calming force on the day before and day of the wedding. Just when we needed someone to help us through stressful family pics or last minute hiccups, he was there to reassure us with a positive smile and a "take a deep breath, you look great, you got this" moment. He was so much more than a photographer for us and we cannot recommend him enough. You will not be disappointed by him, his team and his work.

ce of our day and we are so thankful he was a part of it. Leading up to the wedding we were able to get to know him and he is so funny and easy to talk to. We loved that he shared his own personal experiences from his wedding and his advice was so spot on. The day of the wedding he made sure we took time for us and when there were moments of stress he stepped in and made sure we were breathing haha. Our family and friends absolutely loved him just as much as we did. I always think back to the very end of the night as the venue was being cleaned up and packed away and the three of us hugging on the empty dance floor. It was the perfect ending to the perfect night. Jose is so incredibly talented at what he does. His work is beautiful art and he also is a great therapist haha.
